Join the NCIF Weekly Information-Sharing Sessions (Now until November 2025)

The Northern Cape Innovation Forum (NCIF) is thrilled to announce the launch of its Weekly Information-Sharing Session Series, running from August until the end of November 2025. This initiative is designed to empower innovators, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders across the province by providing crucial knowledge, resources, and networks to fuel their growth.

We extend a formal invitation to all passionate individuals and organisations to join us on this journey of learning and collaboration.

About the Weekly Series

This free, hybrid series (hosted both in-person at our Upington offices and online via Microsoft Teams) features short, dynamic 45-60 minute sessions every week. Each session is crafted to demystify the innovation process and provide practical, actionable insights that you can apply immediately to your venture or support initiatives.

The series will feature a blend of:

  • NCIF-Led Topics: Foundational skills like Innovation 101, Design Thinking, IP Basics, and Prototyping.

  • Funder Spotlights: Insights into incentives, grants, and support schemes.

  • Ecosystem Partner Spotlights: Engagement with key national and regional innovation support organisations.

  • Direct Access: To resources, expert networks, and upcoming opportunities.

Who Should Participate?

This series is essential for:

  • Innovators & Entrepreneurs: With early-stage ideas or existing tech-based businesses.

  • SMMEs & Start-ups: Looking to improve their problem-solving, product development, and market access strategies.
