You are invited to attend a workshop on innovation funding instruments and mechanisms offered by the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) and the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the DTIC), in collaboration with the Northern Cape Innovation Forum (NCIF).

This session will cover available funding opportunities, support mechanisms, and the application processes for innovators and entrepreneurs. It will also provide an opportunity for direct engagement with the funders for questions and guidance.

Who Should Attend?

Grassroots innovators and entrepreneurs from all five Northern Cape Districts are encouraged to attend.

We will unpack:
 – Funding instruments available through TIA and the DTIC
 – The TIA Grassroots Innovation Programme (R260k fund), innovation-support pathways, and opportunities for local founders
 – The Khoebo Innovation Promotion Programme (KIPP), presented by the DTIC, offers grant incentives of up to R1 million for successful applicants
 – The National Cleantech Innovation Challenge (NCIC) – Northern Cape Challenge
